OSHA Outreach Construction Course
OSHA 10 Hour & OSHA 30 Hour

Construction Minimum 10 Max 40 10 Hours (2 days / 5 ½ hours ea.)
​
​This training program is intended to provide entry level construction workers information about their rights, employer responsibilities, and how to file a complaint as well as how to identify, abate, avoid and prevent job related hazards on a construction site. The training covers a variety of construction safety and health hazards which a worker may encounter at a construction site.

OSHA Focus Four Hazards 4 hours (90 Minute Fall Protection)

Personal Protective and Lifesaving Equipment ½ hour

Health Hazards in Construction ½ hour

Elective Courses 3 hours
Cranes, Derricks, Hoists, Elevators, & Conveyors
Excavations Elective Courses
Materials Handling, Storage, Use and Disposal Min of ½ hour on any topic
Scaffolds Must include two topics
Stairways and Ladders
Tools – Hand and Power

​The 30-hour Construction Outreach Training Program is intended to provide a variety of training to workers with some safety responsibility. Training emphasizes hazard identification, avoidance, control and prevention, not OSHA standards.

Students that complete the OSHA 10 training requirement can apply that training to obtain the OSHA 30 provided that all training is completed within 6 months (from the start of the OSHA 10 class, to the end of the OSHA 30 class), the same instructor completes the training, and they must surrender the OSHA 10 card.
